New Year's Eve

"Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap
nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father
keeps feeding them. Are you not worth
much more than they?"
Matthew 6:26

Now the year is over,

Let us braver stand,

Seeking to discover

His-our Father's-hand;

Let us "follow wholly"

Though our sight be dim;

He would make us holy

For a life with Him.

Every day He sends us,

He Himself prepares;

He Himself attends us

Through its joys and cares;

His true love beseeching,

Let us, then draw near;

Seeking guidance, teaching,

For the opening year.

Sunday Meditation: O Sing A Song Of Bethlehem

O sing a song of Bethlehem, Of shepherds watching there,
And of the news that came to them, From angels in the air;
The light that shone on Bethlehem,  Fills all the world today;
Of Jesus' birth and peace on earth,  The angels sing always.

 Cecily Mary Barker
(1895-1973)
English illustrator

O sing a song of Nazareth, Of sunny days of joy,
O sing of fragrant flowers breath, And of the sinless Boy:
For now the flowers of Nazareth, In every heart may grow;
Now spreads the fame of His dear Name, On all the winds that blow.

 Cecily Mary Barker

O sing a song of Galilee, Of lake and woods and hill,
Of Him who walked up on the sea, And bade its waves be still
For though, like waves on Galilee, Dark seas of trouble roll,
When faith has heard the Master's word, Falls peace upon the soul.

O sing a song of Calvary, It's glory and dismay;
Of Him who hung upon the tree, And took our sins away;
For He who died on Calvary, Is risen from the grave,
And Christ, our Lord, by heaven adored, Is mighty now to save. Amen.

"Don't Be Shaken Or Troubled..." An Important Teaching For Our Times

" I write to you not because you are ignorant and do not
perceive and know the Truth, but because you do perceive
and know it, and know positively that nothing false, no
deception, no lie, is the truth.

Who is such a liar as he who denies Jesus is the Christ,
the Messiah? He is antichrist, the antagonist of Christ, who
habitually denies and refuses to acknowledge the
Father and the Son.

No one who habitually denies the Son even has the Father.
Whoever confesses, acknowledges, and has the Son has the Father also."

Friday Night Hebrew Lesson: Adonai Rophe "God Is My Healer"

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised
for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needful to obtain peace
and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes that
wounded Him we are healed and made whole."
Isaiah 53:5

Adonai Rophe means, "God is my Healer".  This is similar to the
Hebrew word for doctor.  Isaiah 53 says the Messiah took upon Himself
all our pains and afflictions.  By His stripes, we are healed!-ZLP

Will North America and Central America Integrate?

Patriot Watch
Keep America save and free

Congress now has the implementation legislation ready to go in the House
and there are at least 5 items the media won't cover.  We'll cover those and offer
suggestions on how you can help in this episode of Analysis Behind The News,
where we provide the perspective that you can use to help save
American liberty and independence-JBS

Please contact your representatives in the US Senate and ask them
to vote no to the impending USMCA agreement.  More importantly,
please pray for President Trump.  Although I believe he is sincere
in his efforts to make America great again, and that he is working
in the best interests of the American people, he is not above
being deceived by his enemies in the government, especially
over this crucial issue involving our national sovereignty.

"Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;
for the power of the wicked will be broken,
but the Lord upholds the righteous."

The Christmas Truce Of 1914

 The photograph above is of the famous  Great War "Christmas Truce"
when British and German soldiers fighting each other along the western front
 decided to forget what they were fighting for and came together to celebrate
 in the spirit of peace on earth and good will to all men.

According to a new book about the event called,
"Silent Night: The Story of the World War I Christmas Truce"
author Stanley Weintraub relates that war-weary soldiers from both sides,
 "helped bury their dead and remove the wounded so that by Christmas
morning there was a large open area about as wide as the size of two
football fields separating the opposing trenches."

 British and German soldiers later returned to the field on Christmas
morning where they sang "Silent Night" and other carols together.
They also recited the 23rd Psalm. Later on, they played games of soccer
 and football.  Gifts were also exchanged, and they ate Christmas
dinner prepared by both sides.  One of the soldiers who participated
 in this unusual holiday celebration later said,
 "Never...was I so keenly aware of the insanity of war."

Fourth Sunday Of Advent: Rejoice, Rejoice Believers

"Behold, A King will reign in righteousness..."
Isaiah 32:1

Rejoice, rejoice, believers, And let your lights appear;
The evening is advancing,  And darker night is near:
The Bridegroom is arising, And soon He draweth nigh;
Up, pray, and watch, and wrestle: At midnight comes the cry.

See that your lamps are burning; Replenish them with oil;
And wait for your salvation, The end of earthly toil.
The watchers on the mountain, Proclaim the Bridegroom near
 Go meet Him as He cometh, With alleluias clear.

Our Hope and Expectation, O Jesus now appear!
Arise, Thou Sun so longed for, O'er this benighted sphere!
With hearts and hands uplifted, We plead, O Lord, to see
The day of earth's redemption That brings us unto Thee. Amen.

On This Darkest Night Of The Year

The Winter Solstice for the northern hemisphere
will happen tonight at 11:29 pm (EST).

It is often called the darkest night of the year.

We believers know that even on the darkest night
of the year, the light of Jesus comes shining through!

"Yeshua is the Light, that drives out the darkness,
The darkness must flee from the presence of HaShem..."
