Flashback Friday: Till There Was You

 "There was love all around,
But I never heard it singing,
No, I never heard it at all
'Till there was you..."

"Till There Was You" a show tune written by Meredith Wilson for the 1957 stage production
of his Tony-award winning, Broadway musical, "The Music Man"  was later sung in the
1962 movie adaptation by actress Shirley Jones.  The song also became a Top 40
hit for singer Anita Bryant in 1959, and was later recorded by The Beatles in 1963.

However, I think this cover of "Till There Was You" beautifully sung
by the angelic vocals of acclaimed singer-songwriter Judy Collins
for her album, "Golden Legends" is one of the best!
