Sunday Night In Uncle Walt's Vault: Summer

First released in 1930, this whimsical bit of cartoon humor features
dancing caterpillars emerging from flowers as butterflies, a menacing
stick, scattering dung beetles,  a dragonfly, and pesky flies who rue
the day after they disturb a sleeping spider in his web!

The February, 1930 edition of Motion Picture News hailed the cartoon
as, "Simply Grand" and praised, "this young man Walt Disney"
for supplying the entire nation, "with a constant load of laughs".

This was especially true as many Americans were coping with
the economic hardships of the Great Depression at the time.
