About 10 years ago, a curious news story popped up on my computer one day. It claimed that members of ISIS were attempting to dam up the Euphrates River in Iraq in order to prevent angels from coming up out of the earth.
At first I ignored the report, but later on, I decided I should print it out for future reference. I found the report had not only vanished from my news feed, but from off the Internet as well.
In more recent days, I have often thought about that unusual report, especially with the explosion of renewed interest in the origin of the biblical Nephilim, or the giants mentioned in the Book of Genesis, and their connection to the fallen Watcher angels. Just this morning, the following in-depth, biblically-based documentary concerning one of the most mysterious prophecies from the Book of Revelation appeared on my YouTube account.
I decided to post this report about the four angels, whom the Bible declares are chained below the Euphrates River, and which, at the appointed time, will be released from their captivity as part of God's final judgment, the forthcoming Tribulation, on an unbelieving and wicked world.
Who Are The Angels Imprisoned In The Euphrates River? The Bible Reveals A Hidden Mystery Power of Wisdom (June 11, 2025)
"For if we believe that Yeshua died and arose, in this way also God shall bring with with Him those who have fallen asleep in Yeshua. Because our Lord shall descend from Heaven with a command and with the
voice of the Archangel and with the trumpet blast of God, and the dead
who are in The Messiah shall rise first; And then we who remain, who have life, we shall be carried away with
them together in clouds to a meeting of our Lord in the air, and in this
way, we shall always be with Our Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17) Aramaic Bible

Jesus, in speaking of John the Baptist in this Scripture verse called him, "a lamp that burned and gave light."-John 5:35 .
Wherever he went, John was a shining light, pointing others to Jesus Christ. Throughout the centuries, many people have been shining lights for Jesus Christ. Today we are living in a world filled with spiritual darkness. People all about us are groping for something to bring light into their darkened lives. God has entrusted to us the ministry of being a shining light for Jesus Christ, the Light of the world.
Paul wrote that we are, "children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation in which you shine like stars in the universe." -Philippians 2:15 . He doesn't place all of us in the same place to shine. Some may be called to shine in faraway places; others in their families, neighborhoods, and places of business.
Sometimes we are in such a dark place we think our small light cannot be seen.
I remember the first time we visited Carlsbad Caverns. When we reached the deepest section, they turned off all of the lights. We experienced a darkness that could almost be felt. Suddenly, in the distance, a light came on. It seemed so small, yet it shone brightly in the large area which had been dark just a moment before.
So Jesus, the Light of the world, shining through our lives, can bring light into the darkness wherever He has placed us, even though we think our light very small.

"Each day offers new opportunities. There will be new choices to make, new decisions, new avenues of service for the Lord. It may even be a day filled with heartache and pain, a day filled with unsolved problems. How different our day will be if we begin with a rejoicing spirit, knowing it has been entrusted to us by the Lord!" -Millie Stamm
Millie Stamm (1906-1999) was an American Christian writer who worked for many years as the director of Meditation Moments, a prayer ministry for Christian women.
Her concern for Christian women in all walks of life was reflected through her writing and speaking ministry. She was the author of four popular devotional books, including, "Meditation Moments" and "Be Still and Know. "
First released in 1930, this whimsical bit of cartoon humor features dancing caterpillars emerging from flowers as butterflies, a menacing stick, a dragonfly, dung beetles, and pesky flies playing a game of leap-frog with a spider!
The February, 1930 edition of Motion Picture News hailed the cartoon as, "Simply Grand" and praised, "this young man Walt Disney" for supplying the entire nation, "with a constant load of laughs".
This was especially true as many Americans were coping with the economic hardships of the Great Depression at the time.

"The word of the Lord which came unto Zephaniah...in the days of Josiah, son of Amon, king of Judah...
I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the Lord.
I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: I will CUT OFF man from off the land, saith the Lord.
I will stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem and I will CUT OFF the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarins (idolatrous priests) with the priests;
And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and swear by the Lord, and that swear by Malchaim (Molech).
And them that are turned back from the Lord and those that have not sought the Lord nor inquired for Him.
Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord God; for the day of the Lord is at hand; for the Lord hath prepared a sacrifice, He hath bid His guests.
And it shall come to pass in the day of the Lord's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes and the king's children and all such as clothed with strange apparel.
In the same day also will I punish all those who leap on the threshold which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit." (Zephaniah 1: 1-9)

Please pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the salvation of Israel.
Pray for our brothers and sisters of the underground Christian church in Iran,
that the Lord will keep them safe in His love and mercy from
any sort of retaliation or persecution from their government
in this time of war.
Pray for unbelievers in Israel and Iran, in America, and around the world,
that God will remove the veil of satanic blindness from their minds and
they will seek to know the One who alone can give them mercy, and pardon
for their sins, and eternal life, through His precious shed blood.
"Give therefore to Thy servant an understanding heart to judge Thy people and to discern between good and bad; for who alone is able to judge this great people of Yours?" (1 Kings 3:9)

We pray, Lord Jesus, for our President.
We are deeply concerned that he may know the will of God,
and that he may have the spiritual courage and grace to follow it.
Deliver him, we pray, from all selfish considerations.
Lift him above the claims of politics.
Fill him with the Spirit of God that shall make him fearless
to seek, to know, to do the right.
Save him from friends who, in the name of politics or even friendship
would persuade him from that holy path.
Strengthen and empower his advisers.
Bring them, too, to their knees in prayer.
May their example and their influence spread, that we,
in these United States, may have a government of men
who know Thee, the Almighty God, as their Friend, and
who place Thy will first in their lives as well as in their prayers.
Hear and answer, we pray Thee,
forgiving us all our unworthiness;
cleansing us from every ignoble thought and unworthy ambition,
that we may be renewed in spirit and mind and heart,
through Jesus Christ our Lord
Amen.
Happy 79th Birthday President Trump!
May you have a beautiful and blessed day.

If you do not already know, tomorrow is Flag Day. A time to honor the adoption of the national flag of the United States by a resolution of the Second Continental Congress on June 14, 1777. The Flag Resolution stated, "The flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white, that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation."
Since that time, that new constellation has grown to include 50 stars, representing the 50 states of what has become the greatest Constitutional Republic that the modern world has ever seen.
There is no nation on the face of the earth like the United States of America.
The stars and stripes of Old Glory represents the epitome of freedom to millions of people here and around the world.
And yet, in more recent days, you would never know this.
In the past weeks, we have seen our flag desecrated in the streets of Los Angeles, spit on, stomped on, and set on fire to the cheers of angry mobs conducting what the media repeatedly and falsely calls, "peaceful protests" over the Trump Administration's enforcement of our nation's immigration policies, and the deportation of mainly criminal illegal aliens.
I believe the worst of all affronts is seeing the flag of Mexico being exalted over Old Glory and touted as the " new national flag of California".
This single initiative taken by these so-called, "peaceful protesters" not only reveals woeful ignorance of our national history, but in particular, the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, which officially ended the Mexican-American War of 1846-1848.
In the terms of the treaty, Mexico agreed to cede to the United States the land which later became the state of California, as well as the future states of Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona, not to mention parts of Colorado Wyoming, and Kansas, which would eventually be added to the Union.
Furthermore, the vile assault on our beautiful flag is a cruel slap in the face to every member of our military, past and present, who has honorably served this nation, in wartime and in peace, and this includes my father, Anthony Brida Sr., who was a veteran of the United States Marines Corps.
I'm not sure my Dad would even recognized the nation he once served with honor, but I am certain that country music legend Johnny Cash's singular tribute to the "Ragged Old Flag" would make him very proud!
"And I set my face to the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: And I prayed to the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, "O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love Him, and to them that keep His commandments." Do you see the Hebrew captive kneeling,
At morning, noon and night, to pray?
In his chamber he remembers Zion,
Though in exile far away.
Are your windows open toward Jerusalem,
Though as captives here, a "little while" we stay?
For the coming of the King in His glory
Are you watching day by day?
Do not fear to tread the fiery furnace,
Nor shrink the lion's den to share;
For the God of Daniel will deliver,
He will send His angel there.
Children of the Living God, take courage,
Your great deliverance sweetly sing,
Set your faces toward the hill in Zion,
Thence to hail your coming King.

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me." (Revelation 3:20)
In this classic allegorical painting, the door, overgrown with weeds and vines, has no visible handle and can only be open from the inside, which according to the artist, represents, "the obstinately shut mind" of fallen humanity.
The painting often referred to as the "sermon in a frame" was seen by millions of people during a world tour in 1904, and has been considered to be even more famous than the artistic works of the great Renaissance masters, as it seemingly reflects the longing of those who seek to be at peace with, and reconciled to God, which can only come by opening the door and allowing the Lord Jesus Christ to step across the threshold and into our heart.
The first Full Moon marking the seasonal transition between Spring and Summer called the Full Strawberry Moon, rose this morning at 3:44 AM EST and will rise again tonight just after sunset around 9:27 PM.
In the Northern Hemisphere, it will be the lowest Full Moon of the year since 2006, appearing to stay close to the horizon and will look larger than average. This optical illusion will not occur again until the year 2043.
June's Full Moon marks the time when delicious red strawberries are harvested in abundance and sold in grocery stores, farmer's markets and at your local road stand, hence the name, "Strawberry Moon". It has nothing to do with the moon's color.

O God, Thou hast rejected us,
And hast afflicted sore;
Thou hast been angry, but in grace
O, Once again, restore.
Lo, Thou hast torn and rent our land,
Thy judgments dread appall;
O heal her shattered strength before
She totter to her fall.
Through ways of trial and distress
Thy people Thou hast led,
A bitter cup Thou givest us
Of misery and dread.
A glorious banner Thou has giv'n
To those who fear Thy name,
A banner to display abroad,
And thus the truth proclaim.
That Thy beloved may be saved
And from their foes set free,
Help with the might of Thy right hand,
In mercy answer me.
God in His holiness has said:
"I will triumphant be,
All heathen lands I claim as Mine,
And they shall bow to Me."
"Now, therefore, who will lead us on
Sin's strongholds to possess?
No longer cast us off, O God,
But give our hosts success.
Give Thou Thy help against the foe,
For help of man is vain;
Through God we shall do valiantly,
The victory He shall gain.
