I thought on this last day of the month

( by the way, where did January go?)

I would do something different...

Amy Carmichael

(1867-1951)

prayed, as a little girl,

that Jesus would change

her brown eyes to blue.

Instead, He sent

her to India

to start an orphanage

and mission fellowship
 in Dohnavur,

where she served faithfully

for 55 years,

saving children

from the horrors

of sex slavery.

Dressed in a

traditional Indian sari,
and darkening her
skin with coffee,

Amy often traveled

for miles to remote
villages to save 
even one child
from a life of
shame and misery.

Before Amy died

in 1951,

she asked that

no memorial stone
be placed on her grave.

Instead, the children

she had cared for

placed a bird bath

on her grave site

with the inscription,

"Amma"

which in the

Tamil language

means,

"Mother".

Like a mother bird,

Amy took many
poor and unwanted

children under her

 protective wings
and showed them
the love and mercy
of Jesus Christ.

Asked what drew them
to this foreign woman
who came to live
among them,
 the children

all replied,

"Love".

in America today?

in the not so distant past,
America was seen as
the Great Liberator...

Was the sacrifice made by the men of
the greatest generation a sacrifice made in vain?

Where there is no vision, no 
integrity, and no sense of moral
responsibility on the part of leadership
before the throne of God, the
people will perish.  This is
where America is today.

Liberty weeps
at the death of
freedom. 





But here is the 411:

GOD OWNS EVERYTHING!
GOD CONTROLS EVERYTHING!
(although many human beings
fail to see this)

The entire universe
BELONGS TO HIM!

We are all merely
tenants.

Anyway...

 I believe that the

only Person

Who can truly save

America now is

Almighty God.
The question is,
"Will He?"

The day of the Lord

will come like a thief,

meaning, at an

unexpected time

and hour,

however,

unlike a thief

coming to break in

and steal,

the Lord is

coming only

for those who

belong to

Him.
