On My Mind: Why America Does Not Need A Constitutional Convention

"You must first enable the government to control the governed; and in
the next place, oblige it to control itself.  Knowledge will forever
govern ignorance, and a people who mean to be their own governors,
must arm themselves with the power knowledge gives."
-James Madison
4th President of the United States of America

America became great not because of what the government has done,
but by what the government has been prevented from doing by the
United States Constitution.  We do not need to change or re-write it.
There is no need for new amendments.  The real need is for better
representatives in Congress.

Unfortunately, a vast majority of Americans from all generations,
my own included, do not know or have not studied the entire document.
Taking my own advice, I am studying the Constitution, and relying on
resources from organizations like the John Birch Society, to better
understand this glorious document of American freedom.

The video presentation below features John McManus
of the John Birch Society who explains how a Constitutional
Convention could quickly turn into a Constitutional crisis
jeopardizing the basic freedoms of all Americans.

  1. CONSTITUTIONAL Conventions are a not starter. The Democrats when it comes to making their moves, kick Republican Butts and would win areas, leading to the down fall of the Republic and the U.S. Constitution. Thanks, J.C.
