"Christ is the Son of God who died for the redemption of sinners
and resurrected after three days. This is the greatest truth in the universe.
I die because of my believe in Christ."
-Watchman Nee
Watchman Nee
Ni Tuosheng or Nee T'o-sheng
(1903-1972)
Chinese church leader and Christian teacher.
Following the Communist Revolution in China,
Nee was persecuted for his faith and later arrested,
spending the rest of his life in prison. The above
quote was found scrawled on a piece of paper left
under Nee's pillow shortly after his death in a
Chinese labor camp. He was later honored by NJ
Republican Representative Christopher H. Smith
in the United States Congress in 2009.
If the path I travel
Lead me to the cross,
If the way Thou choosest
Lead to pain and loss,
Let the compensation
Daily, hourly, be
Shadowless communion
Blessed Lord, with Thee.
Margaret Emma Barber
(1866-1929)
English-born missionary and mentor
to Watchman Nee
Please pray for our brothers and sisters in China
and for all of those around the world who face
persecution for their faith in Jesus Christ.
