fifty years ago this week on May 1, 1976.
According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, there will be not one, but two
Full Moons during the merry month of May this year! The Full Flower Moon
rises tonight, while the second, known as a Blue Moon, will peak on May 31st.
This month's Full Moon is named for the many spring flowers
which bloom across North America at this time of the year.
