On My Mind: Gather Out The Stones

In his second letter to Timothy the apostle Paul spoke of the very times

we are living in, admonishing his listeners and believers in the Word of God

to prepare themselves, for, "in the last days will come perilous times of

great stress and trouble, hard to deal with and hard to bear."

(II Timothy 3:1)

While no person living on this earth today knows for sure when Messiah

will return for His bride, Paul foretold that the fierce times which will precede 

 His coming are going to escalate like never before-a time of profound evil

unleashed, both human and spiritual, not just here in America

but all over the world.

"And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that

the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God."

Ephesians 6:17

The enemy of the souls of mankind knows better than anyone else

that he is running out of time.  He is determine to take as many lost and

hurting human souls into hell with him as possible.  This fact alone

should be a wake-up call to every true believer in Christ.

 People need to hear the truth about God's love for them.

But more importantly, these people need living examples

of faith to see and hear.  You may be the only Bible 

that someone else reads.

"Go through, go through the gates!  Prepare the way for the people,

Cast up, cast up the highway! Gather out the stones. Lift up a

standard or ensign over and for the peoples."

Isaiah 62:10

What the prophet Isaiah is referring to in this passage is the deliverance of

the Jews out of Babylon, yet, in the same regard,  he is speaking of the

great redemption brought forth by the Lord Jesus Christ and the

proclamation of the gospel of grace and liberty through Him.

Although America is not mentioned in the Bible, I believe that

the only gate standing shut between this nation and God's wrath is

 His abundant mercy and a man named Donald Trump.

I know I have said this before, but I believe in my heart that this

ordinary, sinful man was chosen by God from the very beginning of his life-

"Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the

days of my life were written before they ever took shape, when

yet there was none of them."

Psalm 139:16

 to be the leader of America at this time in world history.

And because he is the instrument which will bring forth God's plan

for this nation, the enemy of the souls of mankind is pulling out 

 all stops to try to defeat and to destroy him.

This is why it is imperative for believers to not only, "Gather out the

stones.  Lift up a standard or ensign for the peoples" but to ask for boldness

in proclaiming the Word of God to those suffering in their sins, and, that

  regardless of what we might be seeing and hearing from the news media,

and his political enemies, to keep President Trump covered in prayer.

I pray that a legion of God's most powerful warrior angels

will surround him and his family, and the members of

 his administration, protecting them from every scheme

and weapon of Satan and his minions-both human and spiritual.

The final battle on earth is merely emerging from it's planning stages, 

 and yet, do not allow your hearts to be troubled or afraid. 

 Our Savior has overcome Satan and the world!
