God does not, "help those who help themselves". This is a secular statement often mistaken for Biblical wisdom. Did God need the help of mankind in creating the universe? No. God will ultimately solve this fraudulent election crisis without the help of man. What believers in Messiah Jesus need to do right now is to stand in the gap between heaven and earth through strong and unremitting intercessory prayer for this lost and fallen nation.
We need to pray for President Donald Trump, whom I believe has been chosen to be God's vessel to lead America at this time in history, that he will hear and heed to the voice of the Holy Spirit in making any decisions in these uncertain and perilous days ahead for our nation. We need to ask God to continually bless and protect him, Vice President Michael Pence, their families, and all of those within our government who are truly working on behalf of the American people.
We need to ask God to expose and to drive out the wickedness, both human and spiritual, in high places of power. I believe this fraudulent election crisis is only the tip of the iceberg in future revelations to come. In other words, just like the growing evidence of massive voter fraud in states nationwide, this phony election favoring former Vice President Joe Biden as the potential winner had to occur in order to expose what has been going on behind the scenes in Washington DC and corporate America for many years now. I believe this is one of the reasons why Donald Trump was elected the 45th President of the United States of America in 2016.
This is far more a spiritual battle than a natural conflict. We are in a battle for the very soul of America. But not in the way Joe Biden's campaign has expressed it. At the heart of the anti-God Democratic Party's message is the promotion of abortion, sexual perversion, and idolatry, or the worship of the earth through "green energy". Therefore the usage of this slogan by them is both a mockery and a lie.
What is truly at stake in the battle for the soul of America? Freedom. Where does true and lasting freedom come from? First and foremost from loving, honoring and obeying God and keeping His commandments. "Thou shall have no other gods before Me". (Faith in the infallible wisdom and provision of God replaced by the the false gods of secular humanism, socialism, and science): "Thou shall not commit adultery" (The promotion of all forms of sexual whoredom and perversion); "Thou shall not murder" (The deliberate and willful taking of human life; Abortion, Euthanasia) God made His stand very clear on this when He spoke through Moses in the Book of Exodus:
"Keep far from a false matter and be very careful not to condemn to death the innocent and the righteous, for I will not justify and acquit the wicked." (Exodus 23:7).
Our pilgrim ancestors knew quite well about honoring God and keeping His commandments. How else could they have set sail across the Atlantic Ocean and after weeks of battling storms and hunger and other deprivations at sea, land safely ashore in the new world without vigilantly having sought God for His divine protection and guidance? How did a fledgling America later win her independence from Great Britain without the intervention of God? Before every major battle fought during the revolution, General George Washington knelt down along with his army and prayed to God for a victorious outcome. He knew that the odds (in the natural) were impossible. Yet, he strongly believed that with God's help all things are possible. And he was right.
Benjamin Franklin, who is credited for the saying, "God helps those who help themselves" argued that God must be mentioned in the drafting of the United States Constitution. Franklin too, firmly believed that had it not been for what he called the intervention of Divine Providence in the American Revolution we would have never won our freedom from the British Crown.
In addressing the profound wickedness he witnessed firsthand in the ancient city of Ephesus, an epicenter of worship of the Roman goddess Diana, the apostle Paul admonished the early church there with these words, "For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, contending only with physical opponents, but against the despotisms, against the powers, against the master spirits who are the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly sphere." (Ephesians 6:12)
Paul likened our defense against the attacks of Satan and the forces of human and spiritual wickedness to the battle armor worn by a Roman soldier:
"Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day of danger and having done all the crisis demands, to stand firmly in your place. Stand therefore, hold your ground, having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God. And having shod your feet in preparation to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness and readiness produced by the good news of the Gospel of peace.
Lift up over all the covering shield of faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times, on every occasion, and in every season, in the Spirit, with all manner of prayer and entreaty. To that end, keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints, God's consecrated people." (Ephesians 6:13-18)
