When Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich rose to power in the 1930's, there also
came to prominence a man named Julius Streicher. As the publisher of the premiere Nazi propaganda newspaper, Dur Sturmer (The Storm), Streicher wrote stories to promote persecution and hatred primarily towards the Jewish people in Germany and across Europe.
While he was never psychically held accountable for mass murder and other atrocities committed by the Third Reich during WWII, his poisonous pen was responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of innocent men, women, and children, both Jews, Christians, and others whom the Nazi regime had marked
for death.
During the trials in Nuremberg after the war, Streicher was the first member of the Nazi Party to be convicted of "inciting genocide" through his profound misuse of the "power of the press". He was sentenced to hang at the gallows right alongside of his fellow Nazis who were the actual perpetrators of barbarous crimes against humanity.
History left unchallenged and unchecked by the passage of time, especially bad human history, often tends to repeat itself.
NEVER AGAIN!
