"A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he who
breathes out lies shall not escape."
(Proverbs 19:5)
The highly controversial trial resulting in former President Donald Trump
being acquitted of raping author E. Jean Carroll but guilty of sexually
assaulting his accuser, has left me both angry and disgusted
with the politically-tainted American justice system.
During the first day of the trial, E. Jean Carroll gave an account of
Donald Trump attacking her and claims his assault left her,
"unable to have a romantic relationship".
Carroll described "running into Trump" as she was leaving the upscale NYC
Bergdorf Goodman Department Store where the alleged assault happened in 1996.
She says he needed her help in buying a gift for a woman and that
he led her back inside the store to the lingerie department.
Carroll said that Mr. Trump was very talkative and she found
herself "absolutely enchanted" with him. Perhaps the reason for
this is because she thought he was buying the lingerie for her?
She then claimed that Trump "snatched up" a grey-blue bodysuit in the
lingerie department and demanded that she try it on. She said that
she refused and told him, "You put it on, it's your color."
Instead of turning heel and leaving him with his weird suggestion,
she decided to remain long enough for Trump to insist that they
both try on the bodysuit. Carroll claims she did not take his
suggestion seriously, but she ended up following him
into the dressing room.
It was inside the dressing room that E. Jean Carroll's
"enchantment" with billionaire charmer Donald Trump
turned into a living nightmare, when she claimed that he
suddenly became violent and raped her.
This alleged attack took place inside a busy department store.
Why didn't she scream or call for help from an attendant?
Why didn't she contact the police afterwards?
How could the jury dismiss Carroll's rape charge, yet,
find Donald Trump guilty of sexually assaulting her?
Why, after almost 30 years, has she now come forward?
This trial brings to mind an episode of the 1970's television program,
"Little House On The Prairie" called, "Barn Burner" when an odious
bigot, Jud Larrabee, stood accused of assaulting young Andy Garvey
and burning down Jonathan Garvey's barn.
While Larrabee readily admitted that he had struck the boy but that he did
not mean to hurt him (he was angry and had been drinking beforehand)
it was assumed he had returned to the Garvey farm and burned down
the barn in retaliation for Jonathan Garvey humiliating him
before his wife and family.
The jurors at Larrabee's trial were ready to convict him of burning down
the barn until something happened which spared him from being
punished and hanged for the crime.
The lone black man on the jury named Joe Kagan, who had been cheated
out of making a fair profit along with the other farmers of Walnut Grove
by Jud Larrabee, who hated him, told the judge before the crowded
courtroom that for less reasons than being accused of burning down
a barn, he had seen his people unfairly accused and hung from trees.
He explained his undecided vote to convict was due to the fact that,
"No one saw him (Larrabee) do it."
Meanwhile, Andrew Garvey admitted that he left a lantern
burning near the barn on the night of the fire which then
cast reasonable doubt on Larrabee's culpability and the
charge of barn burning was dismissed against him.
Which brings me back to this recent trial of Donald Trump.
No one saw him do it either.
In the first place, why would he ask the help of a woman,
whom he says he barely knows, to pick out an intimate
gift of lingerie in a department store?
No one knew who the jurors were in this trial.
The presiding judge ordered them to keep it this way.
The jury awarded Carroll a whopping $5 million dollars
in civil damages for her court performance. And yet, they
doubted her story of rape. This doesn't make sense.
The judge also chastised Mr. Trump for defending
himself on social media, and yet, offered no reprimand
to the vindictive news media, which had already
tried and convicted the former president
in the court of public opinion.
Media talking heads are now gloating over this perceived victory
of Donald Trump being found guilty of sexual assault.
Their modus operandi, as in the case of Jud Larrabbe, who
cheated his neighbors to spite one single man due to the
color of his skin, is hate.
Hate for a man who, despite their relentless campaign of
innuendo, false accusations, and outright lies against him,
did indeed "Make America Great Again" during
his brief time in the White House.
Under Donald Trump, America saw plentiful job growth
with increased wages, higher family incomes, and historic
lows of decreased poverty and unemployment.
America was definitely getting back on track.
Until Joe Biden was elected President in 2020.
The news media has unfairly blamed Donald Trump
for everything from the spread of Covid-19 to the
disastrous pull-out in Afghanistan.
None of which is true.
I have never witnessed such profound hatred and
contempt for a former President of the United States.
This hatred is definitely satanic in nature, and I
believe has to due with the fact that Donald Trump
won the presidency in 2016, not so much for his
economic political platform to "Make America
Great Again" but because he was, like
King Cyrus of ancient Persia, receptive to
the call of God on his heart.
Donald Trump was the first U.S. leader to openly
recognize and declare the city of Jerusalem as the
capital of the nation of Israel. This was perhaps
the most important decision he ever made
as President of the United States of America.
He backed up his declaration by moving our embassy
there from Tel Aviv in 2017. I sincerely believe that
despite all the trouble he is having, God will, at
the appointed time, honor Mr. Trump's decision.
Please keep President Trump and his family in your prayers.
