"Give us this day our daily bread."
(Matthew 6:11)
We plow the fields and scatter
The good seed on the land,
But it is fed and watered
By God's almighty hand;
He sends the snow in winter,
The warmth to swell the grain,
The breezes and the sunshine,
And soft refreshing rain.
He only is the Maker
Of all things near and far;
He paints the wayside flower,
He lights the evening star;
The winds and waves obey Him,
By Him the birds are fed;
Much more to us, His children,
He gives our daily bread.
We thank Thee then, O Father,
For all things bright and good,
The seedtime and the harvest,
Our life, our health, our food;
Accept the gifts we offer
For all Thy love imparts,
And, what thou most desirest,
Our humble, thankful hearts.

Sing praises to the Lord, Who dwells in Zion!
Declare among the peoples His doings!
For He Who avenges the blood of His people
shed unjustly remembers them;
He does not forget the cry
of the afflicted, the poor, and the humble.
Have mercy upon me and be gracious to me, O Lord;
consider how I am afflicted by those who hate me,
You Who lift me up from the gates of death,
That I may show forth, recount and tell aloud,
all Your praises!
In the gates of the Daughter of Zion
I will rejoice in Your salvation and Your saving help.
The nations have sunk down in the pit that they have made;
in the net which they hid is their own foot caught.
The Lord has made Himself known;
He executes judgment;
the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands.
Higgaion (meditation).
Selah pause, and calmly think of that!
The wicked shall be turned back
headlong into premature death, into Sheol,
the place of the departed spirits of the wicked,
even all the nations that forget
or are forgetful of God.
For the needy shall not always be forgotten,
and the expectation and hope of the meek,
and the poor shall not perish forever.
Arise, O Lord! Let not man prevail;
let the nations be judged before You.
Put them in fear, make them realize their frail nature, O Lord,
that the nations may know themselves to be but men.
Selah pause, and calmly think of that!

October's full Hunter's Moon will rise just after sunset tonight.
This moon marks the traditional time for wild game hunting,
food preparation, and storage for the upcoming winter season.
According to the folks at the Old Farmer's Almanac, tonight's moon
will barely slide into the Earth's shadow, producing a 1% eclipse
which will be visible mainly from Asia.
In my neck of the woods, the penumbral portion of the eclipse may
be visible but will not alter the moon's appearance. Lovely Luna
will sail across the Autumn night sky while in conjunction with
the equally bedazzling, eye-catching planet Jupiter.
A beautiful sight to behold, indeed!
I hope the skies are clear where you're at tonight, fellow sky watchers!

O come, O come, Immanuel,
And ransom captive Israel,
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Immanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel!
O come, Thou Wisdom from on high,
And order all things far and nigh;
To us the path of knowledge show,
And cause us in her ways to go.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Immanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel!
O come, Desire of nations, bind
All peoples in one heart and mind;
Bid envy, strife, and quarrels cease;
Fill the whole world with heaven's peace.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Immanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel!

In wisdom have You made them all; the earth is full
of Your riches and Your creatures.
Yonder is the sea, great and wide, in which are swarms of
innumerable creeping things, creatures both great and small."
(Psalm 104:24-25)
"For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even
gave up His only begotten, unique Son, so that whoever believes in,
trusts in, clings to, relies on Him shall not perish, come to destruction,
be lost, but have eternal, everlasting life.
For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge, to
reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on the world, but that the world
might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
They who believes in Him, who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him, are
not judged, They who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for
them there is no rejection, no condemnation-they incur no damnation;
but they who do not believe in Him are judged already, have already
been convicted and have received their sentence because they have not
believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
They are condemned for refusing to let their trust rest in Christ's name."

Praise my soul, the King of heaven,
To His feet thy tribute bring;
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
Evermore His praises sing;
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Praise the Everlasting King.
Praise Him for grace and favor
To our fathers in distress;
Praise Him still the same as ever,
Slow to chide, and swift to bless;
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Glorious in His faithfulness.
Father-like, He tends and spares us;
Well our feeble frame He knows;
In His hands He gently bears us,
Rescues us from all our foes;
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Widely yet, His mercy flows.
Angels in the height, adore Him;
Ye behold Him face to face;
Saints triumphant, bow before Him;
Gathered in from every race;
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Praise with us the God of grace.

"How lovely are Your tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!
My soul yearns, yes, even pines and is homesick for

and sing for joy to the living God.
Yes, the sparrow has found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may lay her young-even Your altars, O Lord of hosts,
my King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence;

A Song of the Sons of Korah
"And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up together
with Korah when that company died and the fire devoured 250 men;
and they became a warning sign. But, the sons of Korah did not die."
(Numbers 26:10-11)
Unlike their father, Korah, who led a revolt against Moses and
died, along with his co-conspirators, when the earth opened up
and swallowed them, the sons of Korah, some of whom were singers,
were spared from God's punishment. Vessels of His saving grace.
"In these precious outpourings of the heart for the sanctuary of the Lord,
we read prophetically the heart longings of the remnant of Israel. They

And all they long for will be their happy and lasting portion.
They will go from strength to strength: He will be their Sun and Shield.
He will give grace and glory. Psalm 84:9 shows us our Lord:
"Behold, O God, our Shield, look upon the face of Thine Anointed Christ".
It is through Him that all this will be accomplished."

"And Ruth said, "Urge me not to leave you or turn back from following you;
for where ever you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge.
Your people shall be my people and your God my God."
(Ruth 1:16)
I have always loved the story of Ruth, the young woman from Moab,
who, after she was widowed, did not return to her native land with her
sister-in-law, Orpah, but instead chose to go with her mother-in-law,
Naomi, also widowed, who was returning to Israel.
This beautiful biblical story of love and friendship and the eventual
courtship and marriage between Ruth and Boaz, a kinsman of Naomi,
is clear evidence of God at work in the lives of ordinary people.
A testimony of remarkable faith, "which comes by hearing" as the apostle Paul
reminds us in Romans 10:17., Ruth emerged from her idolatrous background,
to put her hope and trust in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
the Living God of Israel, and to subsequently embrace His chosen
people through the loving example set by her mother-in-law.
Ruth married Boaz and gave birth to a son, Obed, whose son Jesse,
was the father of David, the ancestor of Jesus Christ the Messiah.
Her story has always been a deep inspiration for me in my own
walk of faith, and especially in regards to the people and nation
of Israel, whom I love as God's chosen people. Without Israel
there would be no patriarchs, no prophets, no Bible, but
most important of all, no Messiah!
"Your people shall be my people and your God my God."
I was reminded of this passage this morning after I read an e-mail from
Jan Markell of Olive Tree Ministries, she herself a Messianic Jewish believer,
who is concerned about the profound silence coming from the American
evangelical churches in regards to the current war in Israel.
Jan reports that she has been receiving e-mails from dismayed believers
across the nation who have heard no mention of the October 7th attack
on Israel by Hamas, or have seen any show of support for the people
of Israel by their church leadership. One person wrote that while there
was no mention of the ongoing crisis in their church, there were several
mentions of a Houston Astros baseball game.
After she checked the website for the largest evangelical organization-the
National Association of Evangelicals (NAF),- Jan was further perplexed to
find no evidence of support for Israel, only a banner headline about racial justice.
There was, however, a small blurb on the website, which declared that Israel,
"should not act out of revenge" and "should support the dignity
of all the people affected in this situation."
Does this include "supporting" the "dignity" of terrorists?
As Jan Markell rightly observed: "Terrorists have no dignity.
They are evil. They are demonized."
Where is the voice of leading evangelicals in condemning the huge
protests erupting in cities across America in support of Hamas,
of their torture-murders of Israeli families, of elderly Holocaust
survivors in their homes, of the beheading of precious little babies?
I never thought I would ever see privileged American college kids
waving the flag of a sadistic terror organization while holding banners
with messages calling for the Jewish people to be gassed, or comparing
current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with
the likes of German dictator Adolf Hitler.
"And Moses built an altar and called the name of it, "The Lord is my Banner".
And he said, "Because theirs is a hand against the throne of the Lord, the
Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation."
(Exodus 17:15-16)
Amalek /Antisemitism = Antichrist
The spirit of Antichrist is clearly alive and on display in the streets of America.
Meanwhile, much of "the church" remain silent spectators.
Focusing on baseball scores or hosting Halloween-themed, harvest parties.
Halloween- themed harvest parties held on church property?
Many in "the church" have embraced the satanic lie of "Replacement
Theology" claiming that they are now Israel and that they will usher
in God's forthcoming Kingdom on earth. The apostle Paul warned
that in the last days some will fall away from the faith and
follow after "doctrines that demons teach".
(1 Timothy 4:1)
The Bible makes it absolutely clear that "the church" is not Israel
and Israel is not "the church". Furthermore, when speaking to
the Samaritan woman at the well, the Lord Himself declared,
"Salvation comes through the Jews"
(John 4:22)
He was speaking of Himself, of course.
"The Lord is my Light and my Salvation..."
(Psalm 27:1)
The Hebrew word for "salvation" is Yeshua/Jesus.
In this season of extended grace, it is truly alarming to see that much of "the church"
in America has turn its back on God in order to march in lockstep with this
generation's army of Amalek-by keeping their silence.
As Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German Lutheran pastor, who stood against the Nazis,
warned future generations, "Silence in the face of evil is evil itself."
It is imperative that the remnant of true believers in America not only support
the nation and people of Israel in these increasingly dark and dangerous times
we are living in, but, to effectively pierce the satanic veil of blindness over
our beloved homeland with the glorious, life-saving message of salvation,
found only in and through our Lord Jesus Christ the Messiah.

"Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, extend to the skies,
and Your faithfulness to the clouds. Your righteousness is like
the mountains, O God, Your judgments are like the great deep,

put their trust under the shadow of Your wings."
(Psalm 36:5-7)
A peaceful evening suddenly interrupted by a violent thunderstorm is
the subject of the animation short, "The Old Mill" which was produced
by Walt Disney as part of his "Silly Symphony" series of cartoons,
and released by RKO Pictures in 1937.
A community of animals living inside an abandoned windmill
are caught off guard by the storm, but manage to survive
after it nearly destroys their home.
With background music from the operetta, "The Gypsy Baron"
by Johann Strauss II, this classic film won the 1937 Oscar
for Best Short Subjects: Cartoons.

for preservation in the National Film Registry, finding it,
"culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant."
"For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake
I will not rest until her imputed righteousness and vindication go
forth as brightness and her salvation radiates like a burning torch."
(Isaiah 62:1)
Speaking at the 2007 ministry conference, Christian apologist, author,
and founder of The Berean Call Ministries, Dave Hunt (1926-2013)
exposes the political and media-generated lies surrounding
the bloody history of the "religion of peace".
"And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars, and on the earth
distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts
failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming
on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken."
(Luke 21:25-26)
There will be a brilliant "Ring of Fire" in the skies over America today
and a partial solar eclipse will be visible in least seven states.
Unfortunately, New Jersey is not on the list!
A full eclipse of the sun occurs when the moon passes between the
earth and the sun and blocks the face of the sun with only an outer
rim of light visible during the peak, which resembles a ring of fire.
A partial eclipse gives the sun a crescent moon-like appearance.
A partial eclipse will officially begin at 8:05 a.m. (PT ) on
the Oregon coast. The full eclipse will begin at 9:16 a.m. and
will be visible on the eastern border of Oregon by 9:22 a.m.
The eclipse will cross over into Nevada and then southward
to the Four Corners region-where the borders of Colorado, Utah,
Arizona, and New Mexico converge- around 9:11a.m. (MT).
The eclipse will then pass into New Mexico and across
Texas, beginning in San Antonio at 10:23 a.m. (CT)
and pass on to leave the mainland United States
at Corpus Christi, Texas. It will then pass over
Central America, Columbia, and Brazil before
coming to an end over the Atlantic Ocean.
It is interesting to note that in the cultural beliefs of the Navajo Indians,
viewing an eclipse can result in health and spiritual problems.
These indigenous people of the American Southwest are
keen observers of the effect of the forces of nature,
and especially an eclipse's perceived effect on animals.
"Back in history, as the Dine people, we were raising grazing livestock,
horses, cattle and sheep," says Navajo cultural and language teacher
Carl Begay. During an eclipse, he says sheep "would know
what to do already" and would stop grazing in the field.
"They settle in, put their heads down, not even sleep, just huddle.
So that tells you as a human being something is going on
with nature. So animal behavior guides us."
Today, Navajo Nation communities shut down during
the time of an eclipse and avoid the event all together.
For those who are less cautious, please remember to never
look directly up at the sun during an eclipse unless you are
wearing special viewing glasses to protect your eyes.
A better viewing alternative would be to visit a local
planetarium to observe the eclipse or watch the live
video of this event on NASA's YouTube Channel.
