On My Mind: A Tangled Web Of Lies And Deceit

In a public testimony before Congress yesterday, the controversial

Michael Cohen, once an attorney for President Donald Trump,

accused his former client of being a "racist" a "conman"

and a "cheat".   He also claims that the president reimbursed 

him for the hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels, in

order to keep her quiet about an  alleged extramarital affair 

 she claims she had with President Trump back in 2006,

when he was still a private citizen.

Of course,  the dirty-minded Democrats and their lust for sordid details,

whether they are true or not, are sold on the delusion that  

  President Trump has to be guilty of some infraction no matter what

he says or does.  Meanwhile, the self-disgraced Michael Cohen

 has proved himself to be a master of prevarication,

as he deliberately lied to Congress once before.

In a surprising twist, Mr. Cohen was being represented yesterday

 by an attorney with the familiar name of Lanny Davis,

 who is a close associate of none other than Bill and Hillary Clinton.

 It was also reported that Davis was representing him "for free."

Hmm...I think it is time to start connecting the dots here,
America.  That is, if you have not begun to do so already!

I am inclined to think that when it comes to this relentless, no-holds-bar

search-and-destroy mission to publicly and personally hurt and humiliate

 President Donald Trump, all roads will eventually lead right back

 to vengeful sore loser Hillary Clinton, who still refuses to concede,

although she did so publicly, the results of the 2016 election

to Mr. Trump, who, by the way, is also her distant cousin.

If she had been elected as president that night  I seriously believe

that America as we know it, would be no more.

Our glorious document of freedom, the US Constitution,

would have been rendered null and void, and we would likely

be under the auspices of globalist entities within the United Nations,
whose decisions would usurp traditional American jurisprudence.
 Our citizens would be subjugated to rulings from foreign courts,
including those that implement Sharia, or Islamic law.
Look at what has happened in Great Britain as a prime example.

No matter how many denials she and her fellow Democrats issued

about how this would not happen, when it comes to Hillary Clinton,

a profound liar and deceiver herself, if she were to issue a statement

 declaring, "I'm not running for president in the next election"

or "We're not coming to take away your guns"

 what she really means is the exact opposite.  

 Meanwhile, the chairman of the committee investigating

Michael Cohen's allegations against President Trump,

Representative Elijah Cummings (D-Maryland) declared at yesterday's

hearing that, "the American people have the right to know

the truth" about Donald Trump.  Never mind that members of his own

party-including all of the potential contenders for the upcoming 2020 election-

 have recently voted that innocent babies-future generations

of American citizens-can be murdered right up until their birth,

and that those babies fortunate enough to survive the horror of

abortion can be left to die without receiving any medical help.

To understand the Left's strategy of lies, lies, and more lies,
 we have to focus on some of the key words parroted
 by Michael Cohen as he testified at yesterday's hearing:

Name-calling like "racist" and "conman" and "cheat" are

 all too common, not to mention predictable, along with the continual 
re-hashing, ad nauseam, of the unfounded allegations of 
President Trump's one night stand with porn star Stormy Daniels
and how Cohen took it upon himself to pay her off purportedly
with President Trump's consent.

Is anyone as sick and disgusted as I am over the Democrats
obsession with lust and perversion?   

And speaking of gross sexual impropriety involving an
elected official, what about when known serial rapist and
intern seducer Democrat President Bill Clinton occupied the White House?

 Although he was later impeached, Clinton was never made to stand accountable

for his deplorable conduct.  And neither was his wife and co-conspirator, Hillary,

 who covered up her husband's crimes against women by threatening them

 through personal and public humiliation. Some of his victims said their 

 very lives were threatened through the machinations of  Bill's power-mad

political spouse during her stint as First Lady of the United States.

By the way, Google the name Billy Dale and read how she nearly

destroyed the life of this honorable man and dedicated public servant.

And yet, Hillary Clinton never had to answer for her treachery against him either.

I guess it really is true that the devil protects his own,

or at least those who seem to be imbued with, 

and inspired by his evil nature.
However, as Satan is the father of lies and all that is false,
his protective covering of his so-called, "own" only
lasts until the gullible human beings involved in his
schemes to deceive, steal, and destroy have served
their purpose.  Then he destroys them.

But let's get back to President Trump and his family.  Are they not American

citizens too?  Listen up, my gentle readers.  If those in government can misuse

the power entrusted to them by the people in order to unduly persecute

 and destroy the lives of this man and his wife and his children,

along with ample help from the thoroughly despicable news media, 

 given the right circumstances, they can and will do the exact same thing to us.

Aside from aiding in the wholesale slaughter of the most precious

 and defenseless in our society, and forcing the complicity of the American

people in this genocide by using tax dollars to fund Planned Parenthood,

 the main focus of the Democrats at this stage in the game, is

nothing short of all out war, not only against President Trump

and his family, but against every law-abiding, patriotic

and freedom-loving citizen in America.

I have never in my life witnessed such terrible disrespect

and contempt for a sitting American president and his family.

  However, this spirit of animosity in our nation today only convinces

me more and more that God Himself  has not only placed Mr. Trump in the

White House at this time in our country's history, but, that through

this modern-day Cyrus, the Lord will expose His enemies working

against Him and against the American people.

As the apostle Paul reminds us in his letter to the believers in Ephesus:

"But when anything is exposed and reproved by light, it is

made visible and clear; and where everything is 

visible and clear there is light."

The election of President Trump in 2016 was not only an answer to many

righteous prayers, but proof of God's abounding mercy and loving-

 kindness for the people of the United States of America.

God heard too, the prayers of the common men and women who braved

the stormy seas of the Atlantic Ocean several centuries ago, to

come here to this land to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

God has not forgotten their prayers, nor their intercession for

 future generations of a people who would one day be
called Americans, living in a great land of freedom and plenty,
a nation which, in only a span of a little over two hundred years,
is like no other nation on the face of the earth.

On My Mind: Christian Witches?

How can someone call herself a "Christian Witch"?

Isn't that the definition of a oxymoron?

According to a recent news report from CBN, 

(Christian Broadcasting Network) a group of

professing "Christian witches" are going to host their very

first convention in Salem, Massachusetts this coming April.

 Salem, of course, was once the site of the notorious

17th century witch trials.  Were all those accused and

later executed really witches?  History has left that up

to one's personal speculation concerning the human

tragedy which occurred there. However, one aspect of

the trials remains abundantly clear to me in our

 fast-paced, high-tech 21st century society today.

The early settlers of Massachusetts colony truly believed

in the reality of witches and witchcraft.

A woman known as the Rev. Valerie Love is organizing

this event in Salem, and she claims that her "divine assignment"

 on earth is to "promote witchcraft."

Ms. Love calls herself an ordained minister of spiritual consciousness

and recently founded the Covenant of Christian Witches Mystery School.

Ms. Love further claims that she was "born a witch" but was

raised as a Jehovah's Witness and so hid her real identity for many years.

Love says she left behind the Jehovah's Witnesses and found the

freedom to be "the goddess I am today."  Unfortunately, she has only

exchanged one cult religion for another, as the JW's are

considered to be a cult by many Christian theologians and

church leaders.

Ms. Love says she struggled with the idea of being a witch and a Christian

 however, she has unfortunately chosen to love both her cross and her wand.

  She also claims to consult both her Tarot deck and the Bible. 

 She says she is devoted to Christ, but also to herself as a goddess.  

When I read her statement, I wanted to cry.  This woman

has been so deceived by the lies of Satan!  

Meanwhile, a man by the name of Calvin Witcher, who claims to be

a prophet and who claimed during a Facebook live-stream two months

ago that the Bible "is a huge book of sorcery" and that Jesus is a magician,

also plans to attend the Salem conference.

Witcher says that Jesus whole adult ministry is "all magic". That even

if people say the name "Jesus" that it is all sorcery.

Again, terrible and dangerous deception has captivated this man's mind.

Witchcraft in its many forms is the universal religion of fallen man.

Furthermore, God makes it very clear how he feels about it.

"Turn not to mediums who have familiar spirits or to wizards;

do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God."

Remembering Peter Tork

I just learned yesterday of the passing of Peter Tork,

a member of one of the most iconic television pop rock bands

of the mid-1960's, The Monkees.

The Monkees were a regular part of my early childhood,

although I really do not remember watching them when

the show originally aired as part of the weekly prime time 

television line up for I was only two years old when
they first premiered in 1966.

I  became a big fan of The Monkees when the show

aired in syndication during the early to mid 1970's.

Watching the hilarious adventures of the four

hapless musicians trying to break into show business,

and dancing around the living room to their records being

played on my parents' big RCA television stereo console

 remain some of my happiest growing up memories.

Referred to as the "lovable dummy" member of the

  the pop quartet,  Peter was always stumbling into trouble or in love,
and he, along with Micky, Mike and Davy shared an an alter-ego 
 as one of the fantastic Monkee Men, flying around town in their
oh-so-cool customized red Pontiac GTO,  in real life, Peter Tork

 was a gifted musician who played the keyboard and

 base guitar for the band.  He also co-wrote, along with Joey Richards,

the song, "For Pete's Sake" which played during the closing credits

on the second season of The Monkees.

This song seems to capture the essence of mid-to-late 1960's America,

when the rise of the anti-establishment, counter-culture revolution

 swept the nation,  a time which was often marked by

violent, anti-war protests, racial tensions, and political chaos.

Along with the changes occurring within our society at the time 

came the message of the peaceful flower children, with their painted 

 faces and love beads, declaring that love and empathy and

 the unrestricted freedom to live and let live was the answer

to the problems facing their generation.

However, unless the freedom to do as we please is

tempered with an individual moral responsibility and 

   having regard for the laws, both of God and of man
 which entitle us to our personal liberty,

as well as respecting those whose job it is to

uphold and enforce these laws, the concept of 

unrestricted freedom can quickly dissolve into 

a nightmare of political and social chaos, as we
are seeing once again in America today.

On My Mind: Smollett's Folly

By now nearly everyone in America and subsequently the world

has heard the sordid details of the "racially-motivated" attack on 36 year 

 old actor Jussie Smollett, one of the stars of the Fox series, "Empire".

Three weeks ago, Smollett told police he was ambushed by two

masked men as he was walking home from a Subway sandwich shop

around 2 a.m. in a predominantly black neighborhood in Chicago.

Smollett claims the masked men accosted and beat him outside

 the store and made derogatory comments to him, screaming,

"This is MAGA country!" which refers, of course, to

President Trump's campaign message to

"Make America Great Again".

The men then purportedly splashed the actor with bleach and

left him with a rope around his neck before fleeing into the night.

 An anonymous racist and homophobic letter was also

sent to the Fox studio about Smollett, which police have now

determine was sent by the actor himself.

The minute I heard this story, as reported by various media outlets,

I knew something was not quite right about it.

First of all, three weeks ago, Chicago was in the grip of one

of the worst cold spells in this young century.  Why would two

masked men be standing outside at night in the middle

of what weather forecasters were calling a "polar vortex"

waiting to attack Smollett in front of a Subway store?

While social media outlets exploded with condemnation of

the incident, police in Chicago investigating the alleged hate crime

quickly became skeptical of Smollett's version of events, and, have now

declared that the actor concocted the entire story in order

to take advantage of the "pain and anger of racism to 

promote his career."

However,  I am inclined to believe the "attack" staged by Smollett 

was not so much for a raise in pay from Fox as some contend,
 but it was an attempt to add fuel to the fire in the relentless
campaign being waged by the political Left and the media
against the supporters of President Donald Trump.

Oh, and by the way, Mr. Smollett, do you seriously believe

that in the solidly blue, Democrat stronghold of Chicago,

 the city that former Secretary of State and Senator Hillary Clinton once

declared as, "My kinda town" and where both former President Barack

and First Lady Michelle Obama once called home, 

can rightly be called, "MAGA" country? 

I also find it peculiar that only days before his State of the Union address,

in which our president boldly declared that, "America will never

be a Socialist nation" this disgruntled black man and professed homosexual,
who fits into two of the social groups of "victims" exploited by the Left
in this country for political gain, would use what Chicago Police
   Superintendent Eddie Johnson claims was a noose around

  his neck in order to make false allegations.

"How could someone look at the hatred and suffering

associated with that symbol...how can an individual who has

been embraced by the city of Chicago turn around and slap

everyone in this city by making this false claim?" Johnson said.

How indeed.  The noose around Smollett's neck is not

only a symbol of hate and suffering for many people,

 but, in this case, it serves as a bigoted indictment 
  against millions of patriotic Americans who
love their country and their freedom and who
voted for and support President Trump.

  In the aftermath of Smollett's folly,  the deafening silence on the Left 

 is particularly revealing, along with the frenzy to erase comments posted 

 on social media by the usual suspects, who tried to out do each other

 in their profound, self-righteous indignation to defend Smollett, 

 without first having a clear knowledge of all the facts.

But now we know the truth.
