On My Mind: Behold A Pale "Green" Horse?

According to a recent report from the website Natural News,

the familiar passage from Revelation: 6:8,  "And I looked,

and behold a pale horse: and the name that sat on him was

Death, and Hell followed with him.  And power was given

unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword,

and with hunger, and with death, and with the

beasts of the earth..." is an incorrect translation of
the text and rightly so. 
The color of the horse is actually not "pale" but described as "chloros"
which is the Greek word for "green" or "greenish".

In fact, the original text translated from Hebrew to Greek reads:

"Behold, I saw a horse, pale greenish gray. The name of the

one riding on it was Death, and Sheol (Hell) was following with him.

Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth.

to kill by the sword and by famine and by plague

and by the wild beasts of the earth."

The author of this article, Mike Adams, believes that this pale greenish gray horse,

 might represent the growing influence of the radical cult of  global environmentalism, 

 which he claims has declared war on carbon dioxide, the miracle molecule of life.

Carbon Dioxide is needed in the creation of photosynthesis, the process that

requires chlorophyll and produces oxygen as a byproduct of plant respiration.

  Adams calls carbon dioxide the "God molecule" and he is right.

This gas is the very basis of many of the foods we eat and is needed for

 maintaining all living ecosystems on the planet.

However, according to Adams, the radical environmentalist movement

has declared war against this much needed "God molecule" calling it

a "pollutant" and seeking to eliminate its existence by "dimming

the sun with geoengineering efforts."

This "dimming of the sun" or what is called, "Terraforming" 

would ultimately block our planet's main source of light and

energy, the sun, from reaching the earth in 
attempts to halt global warming.

 Hmmm....Can anyone say, "Chemtrails"?

According to Adams, the global dimming scheme is based on 

spraying chemtrails into the upper atmosphere using thousands of

high-altitude flights that release pollution to dim the sun.

The very idea of "chemtrails" has, until now, been mocked by

the media and the science establishment, who have for

years dismissed the very idea of  harmful chemical trails
zigzagging across the sky  as a "lunatic conspiracy theory"

  However, according to Adams, "they've changed the

 the name to "stratospheric aerosol injection"  and they

  now have a science paper that outlines all the costs involved."

Personally, I have long believed that while there have been

drastic changes in the environment over the years that have 

perhaps effected air quality and have even changed the weather patterns,

 the persistent theories of "global warming" and "climate change"

 are the real "lunatic conspiracy" theories out there!

Although Mike Adams' comparing the green horse

 in Revelation with the loony-tunes "New Green Deal"

being touted by freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,

 is an interesting point of view,  I believe the biblical equine in question

remains primarily a symbol of Death, which comes as a

result of mankind's flagrant and continued disobedience to God.

Through his servant, the prophet Jeremiah, the Lord spoke,

saying, "Though Moses and Samuel stood interceding for them

before Me, yet My mind could not be turned toward this

people, Judah.  Send them out of My sight and let them go!..."

"...Such are destined for death, to death, and such are for

the sword, to the sword, and such are for famine,

to famine, and such are for captivity, to captivity.

And I will appoint over them four kinds of destroyers,

says the Lord; the sword to slay, the dogs to tear and

drag away, and the birds of the air and the beasts of

the earth to devour and to destroy."

Jeremiah 15: 1, 2, 3

The Lord is speaking here in indignation over the disobedience

 of the people of Judah and, because of their desire to rebel against Him,
 how He could no longer recognize them as His people and nation.

 Left to their own wicked devices,  they would bring ruin upon 

 themselves, succumbing to the sword (subjugation) of their enemies,

whom can be compared to vicious dogs tearing the peoples' lives

apart and dragging them away into captivity, or, driving them into

exile in the barren wilderness, where,  left with no resources or safety,
as they no longer had God and His protection or provisions to rely on,

 they would easily become prey for the wild beasts and birds.
