"Thy Will Be Done"
At a D-Day commemoration ceremony in England yesterday,
President Donald Trump reads the prayer spoken to the
American people by President Franklin D. Roosevelt
in his radio address on D-Day June 6, 1944.

As I watched our president speak yesterday, I was reminded of
those uncertain and perilous days faced by America and the world
as thousands of our young men in uniform bravely stormed the beaches
and scaled the cliffs at Normandy and other beaches on the shores of
France on that fateful day June 6, 1944.

These men, some of whom never came home again, were truly
a great, if not the greatest generation of heroes, whose service and sacrifice
on the blood-stained beaches of France and in the hinterland of the European
continent, on the prison island called, "Execution" in the Pacific, and
other lesser known islands occupied by our enemies, set the world
free from malevolent forces of spiritual and human evil.

"A great crusade.  One of the greatest of all times."
-President Donald Trump

Soldiers of Christ, arise,
And put your armor on,
Strong in the strength which God supplies
Through His eternal Son.
Strong in the Lord of hosts,
And in His mighty power,
Who in the strength of Jesus trusts
Is more than conqueror.

"Soldiers Of Christ, Arise."
(1741)
Words by Charles Wesley

English Hymn writer
