Tu Bi Shvat, or "New Year of the Trees" occurs on the 15th day of
the Hebrew month of Shevat. In modern Israel, the day is celebrated
much like Arbor Day in the United States of America with the
planting of new trees.
This morning a beautiful rainbow appeared over the Temple Mount and the Mount of Olives in Israel.

When the clouds hang dark and heavy
And the rolling surge we hear,
When no earthly power can shield us
From the storm that most we fear,
O 'tis then our Father's presence
To the trusting heart is shown,
In a bright and glorious vision
Of the rainbow round the throne.
And the rolling surge we hear,
When no earthly power can shield us
From the storm that most we fear,
O 'tis then our Father's presence
To the trusting heart is shown,
In a bright and glorious vision
Of the rainbow round the throne.
