Wednesday's Word: Israel My Glory

"I bring near My righteousness in the deliverance of Israel,
it will not be far off; and My salvation shall not tarry. And
I will put salvation in Zion, for Israel My glory, yes, give
salvation in Zion and My glory to Israel."
(Isaiah 46:13)

"Brethren, with all my heart's desire and goodwill for Israel,
I long and pray to God that they may be saved.  I bear witness
that they have a certain zeal and enthusiasm for God, but it is
not enlightened and according to correct and vital knowledge.

For being ignorant of the righteousness that God ascribes,
which makes one acceptable to Him in word, thought, and deed,
and seeking to establish a righteousness, a means of salvation of their
own, they did not obey or submit themselves to God's righteousness.

For Christ is the end of the Law, the limit at which it ceases to be,
for the Law leads up to Him Who is the fulfillment of its types,
and in Him the purpose which it was designed to accomplish
was fulfilled.  That is, the purpose of the Law is fulfilled in Him,
as the means of righteousness, right relationship to God,  for
everyone who trusts in and adheres to and relies on Him."

Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that
Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe that God raised Him
from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart a
person believes and relies on Christ and so is justified,
declared righteous and acceptable to God, and with
the mouth confesses, declares openly and speaks out
freely his faith and confirms his salvation.

The Scriptures says, No man who believes and trusts in Him
with ever be disappointed. No one, for there is no distinction
between Jew and Greek (Gentile).  The same Lord is the Lord
over all of us and He generously bestows His riches upon
all who call upon Him in faith.  For everyone who calls
upon the name of the Lord will be saved."
(Romans 10: 1-4, 9-13)

Please pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the salvation of Israel.
