October Poems, Songs, & Praise

Who knows what bright October suns
May light up distant valleys mild,
Where as our pathway downward runs
We see Joy meet us, like a child.

have heard from the beginning;
we should love one another."

Slow Down

Slow down and stop your hurry,
Take your time, for life will wait.
Smell the flowers, hear the birds
Even if it makes you late.

Let your eyes feast on the beauties,
Let God touch you as you stroll.
As you view His great creation
Let His message fill your soul.

Slow down, and take time to listen,
You'll have joy as your reward.
The sky of blue, the sea that glistens
All are miracles of the Lord.

Walking in gratitude and wonder
Finding pleasures ever new.
The blessings of our great Creator
Made for us to daily view.

Slow down, take it not for granted
All this beauty 'round to share.
But know that all of Nature's beauty
Speaks of God's great love and care.

"Creator of the stars of night,
Thy people’s everlasting light,
Jesu, Redeemer, save us all,
And hear Thy servants when they call."

stargazer's delight!

"Show me Your ways, O Lord;
teach me Your paths.
Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness
and teach me, for You are the
God of my salvation;
For You do I wait expectantly
all the day long."
Psalm 25:4-5
