Sabbath Blessing

Yom Shishi 12th of Tishrei, 5777
י״ב בְּתִשְׁרֵי תשע״ז

Shabbat Shalom, Eretz Israel!
Sabbath Peace And Blessings To All

May the Lord protect and defend you.

May He always shield you from shame.

May you come to be

In Israel a shining name.

May you be like Ruth and like Esther.

May you be deserving of praise.

Strengthen them, Oh Lord,

And keep them from the strangers' ways.

May God bless you and grant you long lives.

(May the Lord fulfill our Sabbath prayer for you.)

May God make you good mothers and wives.

(May He send you husbands who will care for you.)

May the Lord protect and defend you.

May the Lord preserve you from pain.

Favor them, Oh Lord, with happiness and peace.

Oh, hear our Sabbath prayer. Amen.

Sabbath Prayer for the 21st Century
Marty Goetz

Today much of the world is standing in
opposition to the continuing existence of the
nation and people of Israel.
An ancient evil is rising, rearing it's
ugly head in the form of appalling media bias
and an international call to ban Israeli-made products,
but perhaps worst of all is the increase of shocking violence,
often resulting in serious injuries and death,
not only against Israelis in their own land,
but against Jews around the world.
It is called Anti-semitism.
Yet, despite this, there are many people
here in the United States of America who
love and support the nation and people of Israel.
I am one of them.

Israel You Are Not Standing Alone!

 Psalm 122:6a Hebrew
 Sha-alu Shalom Yirushalayim
(Pray for the peace of Jerusalem)

 Dove Of Peace
  Israel Rubinstein

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
May they prosper who love you,
the Holy City!
May peace be within your walls
and prosperity within your palaces!
For my brethren and companions'
sake, I will now say,
Peace be within you!
For the sake of the house
of the Lord our God,
I will seek, inquire for, and
require your good."
Psalm 122:6-9
