This month marks the 75th anniversary of V-J Day
and the end of World War II. This post is dedicated to all
the American heroes who fought in that conflict, some of
whom never came home again.

Most of the "greatest generation" whom stormed the beaches
of Normandy and liberated the enemy-occupied islands of the
Pacific and were fortunate enough to return from fighting
the war are no longer here on this earth.
May they rest in peace

I will never forget the courage and sacrifice of these American heroes
in their strident efforts to liberate peoples and nations
from the tyranny and oppression of warfare.
