Purim, also called the Feast of Lots, will begin this evening at sundown.
This special celebration commemorates the courage of Queen Esther,
a Jewess chosen to be the Queen of Persia, whose faith in and
obedience to the Living God of Israel saved her people from
the wicked plot spun by Haman, an advisor to her husband,
to destroy the Jews throughout the empire.
