Congress has only been back in session for about a week now and already
we are seeing a "deal or no deal" situation developing over healthcare reform.
First, President Trump started the ball rolling when he told members of the
Republican Party that they must be more "flexible" with the long-standing
Hyde Amendment, which protects tax payers from funding abortion.
Then, 17 members of the Republican Party decided to vote with
the Democrats for an extension of the failed Affordable Care Act,
better known to many as "Obamacare".
I thought President Trump promised to end the disastrous policies of the
Obama Administration regarding healthcare and would implement better
and more affordable programs for the American people.
Along with many other people, I believed that President Trump stood for
defending the sanctity of human life, and that he would protect vulnerable unborn
babies at all costs. I thought that at last we have a leader, who, although facing
a significant uphill battle, would have the courage and the conviction to utilize
his God-given authority to prevent any further taking of human life
through the heinous act of abortion.
That like myself, he took to heart the words, "We hold these truths to be
self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by
their Creator, with certain unalienable rights, that among these are
life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness".
Unfortunately, since he was re-elected in 2024, President Trump has told
the media that he "would not commit" through executive order or otherwise,
to rescind the Biden-era policy regarding the distribution of the deadly
abortion pill, Mifepristone, which can be purchased through the mail
without a doctor's prescription. This controversial drug has not only killed
babies developing in the womb, but many of the women who chose to take
it as a "quick fix" to end their pregnancies.
Now he has asked Congress to consider flexibility regarding the
long-standing Hyde Amendment, which bars the use of federal funds
to pay for abortion, except to save the life of the mother, or
if the pregnancy was a result of rape or incest.
Infanticide is not, and should never be regarded, as healthcare!
Abortion is the deliberate and willful termination of human life.
"YOU SHALL NOT MURDER"

Those who have been led to believe that abortion is a "quick fix"
solution to the problem of an unwanted pregnancy, or to obtain one
is their "right" are no better than the parents in ancient Israel who
were told that sacrificing their child to the Canaanite god Moloch
would reward them with a better and more prosperous life, especially
if they did not mourn over their child as he or she was laid in the palms
of the idol "to pass through the fire" (burn to death,) while their
screams of agony were covered up by the beating of drums.
Today, if a woman in the state of New Jersey wants an abortion-
and it is LEGAL here right up until the time of birth-she can go to
the Planned Parenthood clinic nearest her and terminate the life of
her unborn child-no questions asked. However, if that same woman
leaves the abortion clinic and walks to a local convenience store and
while there decides to rob it and kill the clerk behind the cash register in
the process, if apprehended by the police, she will be most likely charged
with first degree murder and if convicted, sent to prison.
Both of these actions-getting an abortion and robbing the store and
killing the clerk- were done of her own free will. Yet, murdering her
child in the womb, is considered a "choice" protected under the laws of
our state, while taking the life of the clerk is considered murder?
Abortion Wins. America Dies.
Will our 250th year be our last as a nation?
