Saturday Poetry Corner: Winter Trees

"Many, O LORD, my God, are the wonders You have done, and the plans You have for us-
none can compare to You-if I proclaim and declare them, they are more than I can count."
(Psalm 40:5)

 All the complicated details

Of the attiring and

the disattiring are completed!

A liquid moon

moves gently among

the long branches.

Thus having prepared their buds

against a sure winter

the wise trees

stand sleeping in the cold.
