The Holy Days Of Our Lord: Yom Teruah/Feast Of Trumpets

 

 

"Then the LORD said to Moses, 'Speak to the Israelites and say, "On the first day of 
the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly announced by 
trumpet blasts.  You must not do any regular work, but you are to present 
an offering made by fire to the LORD."
(Leviticus 23:23-25) 

  This year the Feast of Trumpets, also called Yom Teruah and Rosh Hashanah, 
 begins tonight, Friday September 11, 2026 at sunset.

  In this classic presentation, Messianic Bible teacher Zola Levitt (1938-2006), 
founder of Zola Levitt Ministries teaches that while Rosh Hashanah (New Year), 
ushered in with the blowing of the shofar, (trumpet) is a time of celebration
 and merriment for Jews around the world,  it is also a time 
for the serious contemplation of sin.  

Zola also welcomes special guest Pastor Tim LaHaye, author of the "Left Behind" series
of books, who gives his insight as to what will happen at the sound of the last trumpet.
