In this classic Disney cartoon, after reading in the newspaper that a
dangerous gorilla has escaped from the zoo, Mickey Mouse calls his best gal
pal Minnie to warn her. She insists she is not afraid and begins to sings him
a song over the phone while playing the piano...suddenly, Mickey hears
her screams over the line and rushes to save her after the menacing
hairy ape called Beppo breaks into her home.

This delightful animated short was the 22nd film of the Mickey Mouse
cartoon series.  Although considered not up to standard with recent Mickey
cartoons, Motion Picture News called the short, "a good comedy nonetheless."
