"When the righteous flourish, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan."
(Proverbs 29:2)
In response to a recent poll regarding the upcoming mid-term elections:
Washington DC is full of bought and sold politicians. Very few of our
representatives know the true meaning of the words, "public servant".
However, there is a slim minority who will not compromise, and who
will continue to stand up and defy the status quo by adhering to
and obeying the Constitution.
While no one can really predict the outcome of this year's mid-term elections,
it is my most fervent prayer that more public servants will be added to this
slim minority, and that the best men and women suited for the job will either
win re-election, or be newly elected to either the House or the Senate.
The bottom line is, We the People need people who will represent us and
our concerns as Americans, first and foremost. There have always been enemies
of our Republic who have sought to destroy our nation and to undermine our
freedom-now more than ever before.
For those of us who love this nation and our unique history, but more importantly,
love the freedom which we all hold dear, we need to stand up and be counted by
going to the polls next month. Someone reading this might not think voting
will make any difference. My advice to them is to go and vote anyway.
It is your vote that perhaps will make the difference!
