Forgiveness Between Israel And Germany

With this evening marking the beginning
 of the observance of  Yom HaShoah,
(Holocaust Remembrance Day)
in Israel and by Jews all around the world,
messianic Rabbi Zev Porat posted this interview
 with German Christian television.

Here's what happened next.

Classic Zola Levitt: The Stones Cry Out

In the first episode of this fascinating series from messianic Jewish
Bible teacher Zola Levitt (1938-2006) "The Tunnel" is a tour through
an underground passageway on the western edge of the Temple Mount
in Jerusalem.  When the entrance to the tunnel was first opened
in 1996, members of the biased global news media fueled the political
 controversy which followed, as well as reported the misleading
 facts of the matter being used by then PA Chairman Yassir Arafat
as the truth, in order to further demonize the actions of Israel
in the eyes of the rest of the world. Shame on them!

States Begin Talking of Reopening

"Last week, California Governor Newsom released preliminary guidelines
to follow before the state eventually reopens. While he didn't provide a timeline,
other states are considering reopening as well.

Plus, in a testy exchange with reporters, President Trump claimed he alone
has the power to reopen the nation rather than the governors."

The Heavens Declare God's Glory With April's Shooting Stars

"The Heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament shows and proclaims His handiwork."
Psalm 19:1

Lyrids Meteor Shower
(2019)

While April showers bring May flowers,  (hopefully clear) night skies
will add an extra dimension of wonder and beauty to the heavens
 this week with the peaking of the annual Lyrids Meteor Shower.

The remnant of a dusty comet trail, which has been circling
  around the sun for centuries,  the shooting stars of the Lyrids
  will be highly visible in the Northern Hemisphere during the
 overnight hours of Tuesday, April 21st, into Wednesday,
  April 22nd, with the best viewing time just before dawn.

  According to Space.com and NASA meteor expert Bill Cooke,
  at two days away from New Moon, the moon will only
 be a thin crescent and therefore not bright enough
  to obscure the viewer's observations.

Master Of Life

Master Of Life
Zemer Levav

You are the Master of Life
The keys of hell and death are at Your command
You are the giver of breath
And all of our times are in Your hands.

All of our worrying won't turn the wind
Your hand alone turns the tide
You hold the hearts of all kings in Your hand
By Your word alone we are tried

You are the Master of Life
The keys of hell and death are at Your command
You are the giver of the breath
And all of our times are in Your hands.

In splendor You clothe all the flowers of the field
In Your love You feed every bird
You will provide for those who trust in You
We'll ask and our prayers will be heard.

You are the Master of Life
The keys of hell and death are at Your command
You are the giver of the breath
And all of my times are in Your hands.

All of my worrying won't turn the wind
Your hand alone turns the tide
You hold the hearts of all kings in your hand
By Your word alone I am tried

In splendor You clothe all the flowers of the field
In Your love You feed every bird
You will provide for me I'll trust in you
I'll ask and my prayers will be heard.

You are the Master of Life
The keys of hell and death are at Your command
You are the giver of the breath
And all of our times are in Your hands.

I'll Not Be Afraid

I'll not be afraid
For the terror by night
Nor the arrow that flieth by day;
For the Lord whom I serve
Is my Shield and my Light
He will guide and protect all the way.

(Refrain)
I'll not be afraid, I'll not be afraid;
Where He leadeth I safely can go;
I will trust Him always
Both by night and by day;
He'll be with me forever, I know.

I'll not be afraid,
Tho' the stormy winds blow,
And the billows sweep over my soul;
He who calmeth the sea
Will protect me, I know,
And will lead me to Heaven's bright goal.

I'll not be afraid, I'll not be afraid;
Where He leadeth I safely can go;
I will trust Him always
Both by night and by day;
He'll be with me forever, I know.

I'll not be afraid
Of the scorns of the world,
Nor to tell of God's wonderful love
When from Satan's vile host
Fiery darts shall be hurled,
I'll be strengthened with grace from above.

I'll not be afraid, I'll not be afraid;
Where He leadeth I safely can go;
I will trust Him always
Both by night and by day;
He'll be with me forever, I know.

I'll not be afraid
When the grave I shall see,
Just beyond its dark shadow is rest;
And the welcome of angels
Is waiting for me,
When I enter those realms of the blest.

I'll not be afraid, I'll not be afraid;
Where He leadeth I safely can go;
I will trust Him always
Both by night and by day;
He'll be with me forever, I know.

Saturday Poetry Corner: The Lilacs

With lilacs in bloom at the door,

Then the banners of Grouchdom are furled...

Lilacs In Bloom
Photograph by Paula Daniels

And life is worth living once more,

The loved ones gone yonder come back

To breathe once again their perfume,

And joy has a clear open track

We all are together again,

The mother that loved them is here;

The grandfather taps with his cane

The walks that he once held so dear.

The family circle is whole

And sunshine has banished the gloom,

And memories sweet flood the soul

With the old-fashioned lilacs in bloom.

Home is nearer to Heaven it seems,

And the stream that divides not so vast;

For we live once again in our dreams

The scenes of our sanctified past.

And back to us come in a troop

The loved ones, asleep in the tomb,

To sit for a while on the stoop

With the old-fashioned lilacs in bloom.
