So Let All Your Enemies Perish, O Lord!

"So let all Your enemies perish, O Lord! But let those who love Him be like the sun
when it rises in its might.  And the land had  peace and rest for forty years."
(Judges 5:31)

Tel Shilo (Shiloh ) was an ancient city and sanctuary in Samaria. According to
the Bible, Shiloh was the location of the tabernacle. (Joshua 18:1, 1 Samuel 1:1).
The meaning of the name, "Shiloh" is "Messiah" or "Place of Messiah"
It served as the central sanctuary for the Israelites during an uncertain
time of no national authority or monarchy to rule over the people.
As the Book of Judges 21: 25 attests, "In those days there was no king
in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes."

The parallels between ancient Israel's dilemma and the current
situation in the United States of America today are striking.

"For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, contending only with
physical opponents, but against the despotisms, against the powers,
against the master spirits who are the world rulers of this present
darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in
the heavenly (supernatural) sphere."
(Ephesians 6:12)
