When I was a little girl we had a snowstorm in late October here in southern Jersey.
I can still remember walking across patches of snow on the ground in my
black patent leather Buster Brown shoes with the strap across the top of
my foot and wearing my winter coat over my costume
while out trick-or-treating on Halloween.
Brrr! It was really cold too!
