In this episode of FORGOTTEN HISTORY, host Mike Droberg takes a
look back at the UFO incident which happened over a half century ago near
Kecksburg, a rural community located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
I first heard of this mysterious UFO encounter on an episode of the popular
television program, "Unsolved Mysteries" in the 1990's. Whereas the
people interviewed claimed to have been eye witnesses to a brilliant
fireball streaking across the sky, like the more recent drone controversy
in New Jersey, both government officials and the military sought
to cover up the truth about this strange "object" which
crash-landed in the woods that day in 1965.
