Bringing Light Out Of Darkness

"For Thou will light my candle; the Lord my God
will enlighten my darkness."
(Psalm 18:28)

With the Festival of Dedication, better known as Hanukkah, coming up this week,
police explosive disposal experts in northern Israel are seeking to bring light
out of darkness to the war-weary people of their nation, and especially for the
the residents in the north, many of whom are still displaced from their homes,
by creating a menorah from parts of missiles.

According to Israel National News, one of the missiles killed twelve children
in the Druze community of Majdal Shames in the Golan Heights.  Another
was responsible for the death of a schoolteacher in the city of Shfar'am.
Still another claimed the lives of a couple out walking their dog in
the forest near the community of Kiryat Shmona.

Over the course of the holiday the menorah will pass through different locations
severely affected by the ongoing war in the northern half of Israel and will be
lit each night to honor the memory of the lives tragically lost, and to bring
hope into the hearts of their grieving loved ones.

In this present time of darkness over His people Israel, may God
enlighten their hearts with His great love and bless them with
His comfort and peace.

Please pray for the salvation of Israel.

Sha'alu Shalom Yerushalayim!

Maranatha!
