Flashback Friday: In The Garden

Perfection,  Elvis-style.

He might have been the King of Rock 'n' Roll, but his powerful vocals
were undoubtedly created to sing praises and glory to the Lord.

Historically speaking...

This classic hymn was written in 1912 by C. Austin Miles who
summered with his family for many years on Laurel Avenue
in historic Pitman, New Jersey.  He was often seen walking
out in his yard overlooking the beautiful flowers he grew
there. Perhaps his own garden was the inspiration
for composing his most famous song.
