 First aired on October 26, 1956 Uncle Walt brings us the animated
biography of the great American story-teller Washington Irving.
  Born and raised in the Hudson River Valley of New York State, he
 later wrote the classic ghost story, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow"
featuring hapless schoolteacher Ichabod Crane matching wits 
with the vengeful spirit known as The Headless Horseman.
 

I still think The Headless Horseman was Brom Bones in disguise!
