Full Snow Moon Tonight

"Moonlight becomes you...I'm thrilled at the sight,
And I could get so romantic tonight..."

According to Space.com look to the east at sunset tonight to see the Full Snow Moon
rise among the stars of the constellation known as Cancer the Crab, as the gas giant
Jupiter shines close at hand in the winter sky.

February's full moon will reach peak illumination at 5:09 EST rising opposite
of the setting sun.  This month lovely Luna is called the Snow Moon, which refers
to the heavy snowfall that is common in many places in the United States at
this time of the year.   South Jersey received an abundance of snowfall last week
for the first time in recent years.  I think there is nothing more beautiful
than silvery moonlight bedazzling a snowy landscape.

🌕 Hope the skies are clear where you're at tonight!🌕
