Sunday Night In Uncle Walt's Vault: The China Plate

 As a long-time collector of antique blue and white Willow Ware, I love
 this whimsical short cartoon based on the enchanting old Asian fairy tale,
 "The China Plate" also known as "The Willow Pattern Story".

Upon its release on the big screen in movie theaters across America,
in May, 1931 a reviewer for The Film Daily said:  "Entertainment for
both juvenile and adult audiences is to be found in this Walt Disney
Silly Symphony.  Novelty rather than humor is the keynote.
It's real and different entertainment all the way."
