"Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style, someday..."
"Moon River"
Andy Williams
(1961)
Instead of making this one of my usual monthly commentaries about
the full moon, I would instead like to dedicate today's post to all my
fellow "Huckleberry friends" out there, those starry-eyed, hopelessly romantic
souls and kindred spirits who love to wonder as they wander on moonlit nights.
Above lyrics from the song,
"Moon River" were first sung by actress
Audrey Hepburn in the classic romantic comedy film,
"Breakfast At Tiffany's"
Composed by
Henry Mancini/Johnny Mercer
(1961)
