According to SciTechDaily.com, tonight's full Strawberry Moon will
be on Friday afternoon and will appear opposite the sun (in Earth-based
longitude) at 3:12 PM EDT. The moon will appear full in appearance
until early Sunday morning. Although the skies here are overcast
today and we are under a Flash Flood Warning for tonight, I
do hope I will get more than a glimpse of the moon this weekend
as the skies are predicted to clear off by Saturday evening.
There will also be a lunar eclipse occurring with this moon,
however, it will not be visible from the United States.
