or perhaps not even born, Pa and Ma and Mary and Laura and
Baby Carrie left their home in the Big Woods of Wisconsin."
Thus begins the opening paragraph of one of the most beloved
children's books of all time: "Little House On The Prairie"
by prolific American author Laura Ingalls Wilder.
Now take a vicarious tour of the land where Pa built the little
house on the prairie in the beautiful state of Kansas, which
back in those days was known as "Indian Territory".
Thank you Jordan for this interesting road trip into
yesteryear and the pioneer days on the frontier.
