As we enter the peak season for hurricanes in the mid-Atlantic region,
I pray God will steer any storm headed for the East Coast out to sea.
I also pray that if a hurricane forms and comes close enough to
affect the United States, the impact will be minimal.
"O Lord God of hosts, who is a mighty one like unto You, O Lord?
And Your faithfulness is round about You, an essential part of
You at all times. You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves
arise, You still them. The heavens are Yours, the earth also is
Yours; the world and all that is in it, You have founded them."
( Psalm 89:8, 9, 11)
