When I was a little girl I remember hurrying up to get my bath and into my
pajamas just in time to watch, "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights.
"Zippity-Doo-Dah" was the theme from Disney's 1946 live-action,
animated musical film, "Song Of The South" featuring the tales of the wily
Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear as told by the lovable Uncle Remus.
The song won the 1947 Academy Award for Best Song.
Wonderful memories of a far different time in America.
