And Now...A Word About Our President

How do you think the world views President Trump based on
the peace agreements he has negotiated since taking office?

This was the question posed to me in a recent poll.

I voted for one of the least chosen answers, which was that our president
will be criticized, "regardless of the outcome."

While we expect rabid negativity from the media lap dogs in the pocket of the
political Far Left, there have been a lot of people freaking out on social media
over his decision to enforce tariffs on other nations.  Others are claiming he has
abandoned his MAGA base with this decision, while many more blame him for
the recent spike of food and gas prices across the nation. Or, they insinuate that
he is using his presidency in order to secure international business deals which
will only benefit himself.  Trump has not even been in office for one year yet!

People need to realize that most campaign promises do not materialize overnight.

I voted for Donald Trump, and I truly believe that I witnessed the mercy of God
on our nation the night of the election when he won the state of Pennsylvania
and the presidency.  We who voted for this man knew it would not be an
easy road for him.  He has many enemies in the seedy world of politics
and corporate business.  But I think God was well aware of this when
he allowed Donald Trump to once again become America's president.

He knows the motives within this man's heart better than anyone else.

Furthermore, although he has a tendency to be abrupt at times, President Trump
possesses a rare quality which is sorely lacking in most world leaders today, which sets
him apart from the rest. It's called intestinal fortitude.  More commonly known as "guts".

Whether he is sitting down to pow-wow with Vladimir Putin, or giving his personal
stamp of approval to Israel to go into Gaza and annihilate HAMAS, especially after
the latter's rejection of the most recent U.S.-backed cease-fire/peace deal,
President Trump usually gets right to the heart of the matter.

"It was too bad.  Hamas didn't really want to make a deal.  I think they want
to die," he told reporters as he departed the White House for a trip to Scotland in July.

The president's mother, Mary Anne Macleod Trump, was born and raised
in the village of Tong, located on Lewis, the largest of the islands in the
Outer Hebrides, located off the west coast of Scotland.

Although I am not sure of any ancestral link, it seems to me that the same
indomitable spirit of Scottish hero William Wallace flows in Donald Trump's
veins, as evident when, after nearly being felled by an assassin's bullet last summer,
he defiantly stood his ground and urged horrified onlookers to "Fight! Fight! Fight!"

May God bless and keep our president safe in His love and mercy always.
