A towering figure in evangelical Christianity, Dr. James C. Dobson
influenced generations of Christian parents through his many books,
radio program, and nationwide ministry, Focus On The Family,
which he founded in 1977.
With divorce rates rising and the rapid decline of morality
within our national culture, Dr. Dobson was known for his
staunch defense of the traditional family. He stressed to Christian
parents the vital importance of providing Christ-like stewardship
and guidance to their children according to the timeless
precepts found with the Word of God.

James Dobson went home to be with the Lord yesterday after a brief illness.
May he rest safely in the loving arms of the Lord Jesus.
