Timeless Truths: Integrity In The Life Of The Believer/Dr. Charles Stanley

"In everything, show yourself to be an example by doing good works. In your teaching
show integrity, dignity, and wholesome speech that is above reproach, so that anyone
who opposes us will be ashamed, having nothing bad to say about us."
(Titus 2:7-8)

Do people see you as a person of integrity?

Can they rely upon your honesty and trustworthiness?

In this classic teaching, Dr. Charles Stanley states that integrity is
at the core in the life of a believer. It defines your identity and the
content of your character.  He also warns that in a world where
half-truths, innuendo, and far too often, outright lies, dominate the
headlines and the culture,  a believer must stand firm in their integrity
by not compromising the truth, or rationalizing certain events for
fear of rejection and to avoid conflict with others.

He also points to another reason why people often compromise
with their integrity, and that is an unwillingness to trust God.

When you have the assurance that He is in control, you have the
courage to be upright, reliable, and trustworthy.
