The Trophies Of God Await You

"Turn again our captivity, O Lord as the streams in the south."

When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

Then was our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing,

then said they among the heathen, The Lord has done great things for them!

The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Turn again our captivity, O Lord as the streams in the south.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

He that goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall

doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

(Psalm 126)

(126:6)  The Trophies Of God Await You

Roy E. Pulliam, 22 years a faithful teacher at Prairie Bible Institute in
Three Hill, Alberta, Canada, revealed the beauty of this verse to me.

It's truth is divided into 5 "T's".

He that goes forth: Toll

and weeps: Tears

bearing precious seed: Treasure

shall doubtless come again with rejoicing: Triumph

bring his sheaves with him: Trophies.

What a precious promise this is for every believer.

Today is especially a most difficult day for me. The cares of this world
would almost envelop me.  It is dark and cloudy outside. Sometimes the
pressures are more than I can bear. What should I do? What should you
do, when all seems hopeless?

Be Steadfast.  Go forth in toil and weep as you sow the precious seed
of His word, priceless treasure. God not only promises you will triumph
with rejoicing, but He assures every believer that he will abound in trophies!

Are you sowing in tears right now? Then the promise of Psalm 126:5 will
certainly find fulfillment in your life. God promises that if you sow in tears,
you will surely reap in joy! Praise God!

to them who are called according to His purpose."
