November's Full Beaver Moon will be the closest Super Moon of the year!

According to the folks at the Old Farmer's Almanac, a "Supermoon" is a catchy
term for what astronomers call a perigean Full Moon, which is when the moon is
near its closest point to Earth.  While technically bigger and brighter than a
regular Full Moon, it appears only 7% larger, which can be an imperceptible
difference to the human eye, depending on other conditions.

This month's Full Moon is called The Beaver Moon because it is at this time of
the year when beavers take up shelter in their lodges, after gathering sufficient food
to store for the long winter ahead.  In the days of the fur trade in North America,
this was the season to trap beavers for their thick, winter-ready pelts.

🌕I hope the skies are clear where you are at tonight!🌕
