This month's spectacular celestial event, the annual Leonid Meteor Shower,
will reach its peak early tomorrow morning (November 17th). If you are a night
owl or an early riser, you might get to see up to 15 meteors per hour shooting
across the moonless skies. That is to say, if the moonless skies are clear!

The Leonids will remain active until November 30th. However,
according to LiveScience.com, will peak when the Earth passes
through the densest part of the meteor stream-which will
take place between midnight and dawn-on Monday.

Historically speaking, the Leonid Meteor Shower of 1966 is rated as the finest
on record, as so many meteors were seen in a 15 minute period that they appeared
to fall like rain, according to NASA. Unfortunately, nearly 60 years hence, no
dense debris encounters are expected, so a "meteor storm" is highly unlikely!
