Last night, I was awakened by the sound of thunder rumbling in
the distance. I have not heard that sound for so long that at first
I thought it was an explosion. Then, a little while later came a
sudden, solid drumbeat of heavy raindrops falling on the roof!
After almost three months of dry, drought-like conditions, poor
air quality due to excessive amounts of pollen from the trees,
( a bane to allergy sufferers like myself) and daily Red Flag
warnings for wildfires, the Lord sent us some much needed rain!
Thank You Father for all Your blessings!
"Sow for yourselves according to righteousness, uprightness and right
standing with God; reap according to mercy and loving-kindness.
Break up your uncultivated ground, for it is time to seek the Lord,
to inquire for and of Him, and to require His favor, till He comes
and teaches you righteousness and rains His righteous gift
of salvation upon you."
(Hosea 10:12)
