Daughter Of Zion

 

"Sing and rejoice, O  daughter of Zion: for lo, I come, and I will
dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.

And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and
shall be My people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou
shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent Me unto thee.

And the Lord shall inherit Judah as His portion in the holy land,
and shall choose Jerusalem again. 

Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for He is raised up 
out of His holy habitation."
(Zechariah 2:10-13)

Sing, O daughter of Christ's Zion

Shout, O Israel:

Gladden and rejoice with all thy heart,

Christ doth all things well-

He cast thy sin into the sea;

Conquered thy enemies:

Christ the Lord, King of  Israel

In the midst of thee.

Fear not, Zion's daughter!

Let not hands be slack (but diligent)

Let thy life present a witness pure:

Be thou faithful to the end!

Christ thy God in thee is mighty-

Saving by His grace.

O'er His Bride greatly will He rejoice,

Joy spread on His face.

In His love will thee forever rest,

Singing glad and free;

Jesus mercifully begat thee,

And will cover thee.

Fear not, Zion's daughter!

Let not hands be slack (but diligent)

Let thy life present a witness pure:

Be thou faithful to the end!

"Gather up together all the lost,"

Saith He tenderly.

"I will bind th' afflicted, hated,

Driven out to Me.

In the lands I'll make them mighty,

Bring Me praise and fame:

They will know that I, the Great God,

Save My Bride from shame."
