Lord, How Long Shall The Wicked Triumph?

"You were the light of my life, the most precious gift I ever received."
-Hananel Gez, speaking at his wife's funeral.

Samaria resident Tze'ela Gez murdered in Palestinian terrorist act

In what should have been a joyous occasion for her and her family,
Samaria resident, Tze'ela Gez was senselessly murdered when Palestinian
terrorists ambushed the car she was riding in on the way to the
delivery room this past Wednesday night.

Her husband, Hananel Gez was lightly injured in the attack.
Fortunately, doctors were able to save the life of their baby
through an emergency C-section.  He remains in intensive care.

Meanwhile, while not claiming responsibility, a spokesman for Hamas
named Abu Obeida praised the attack, calling the cold-blooded killing
of the pregnant Israeli woman, "a heroic action." He also called
 for more
violence in the West Bank.

This is Hamas.  Celebrating the death of a woman on her way to deliver new life.

This is Hamas.  Demon-possessed monsters who massacred thousands of
innocent men, women, children, and babies in Israel on October 7, 2023.

This is Hamas.  The same monsters whom spoiled, self-entitled
and ignorant young people on college and university campuses
across America marched in support of last year, while terrorizing
and threatening the lives of Jewish students on campus.

This is Hamas. This is the evidence of the evil spirit of murder
and death which they have bowed their knees to in their grisly
determination to destroy the Israeli people and their nation.

This is Hamas.  The enemies of Israel.

This is Hamas.  The enemies of God.

"O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs;
O God, to whom vengeance belongs, show Thyself.

Lift up Thyself, Thou judge of the earth; render a reward to the proud.

Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

How long shall they utter and speak hard things and all the workers
of iniquity boast themselves?

They break in pieces Thy people, O Lord, and afflict Thine heritage.

They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous,
and condemn the innocent blood.

But the Lord is my Defense; and my God is the Rock of my refuge.

And He shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them
off in their own wickedness; yes, the Lord shall cut them off."
(Psalm 94:1-5, 21, 22, 23)

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of this beautiful young woman,
with her husband, and with the children left behind. May God comfort them
in this time of immense sorrow and loss. May she rest in eternal peace.
